We have officially established the Cambodia Network of People with Non-Communicable Diseases (Cam-PWNCD).
In an effort to strengthen the voice, leadership, and meaningful participation of people living with non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in decision-making processes, HACC, the secretariat of the Cambodia NCD Alliance, mobilized resources and brought together communities of people living with NCDs to form this network.
The network will play a vital role in:
– Representing the NCD community at the national level.
– Establishing referral and information-sharing mechanisms between communities and relevant partners; and
– Facilitating coordination and partnerships between the network, the Ministry of Health, and other relevant government institutions.
We are pleased to officially announce the newly structured Cambodia Network of People with Non-Communicable Diseases (Cam-PWNCD), following a transparent and participatory voting process held on 02 March 2026 at Sunway Hotel in Phnom Penh, with the participation of the Ministry of Health (MoH), development partners, and representatives of the NCD community.
Following the voting process, the structure of Cam-PWNCD is as follows:
– Chair: Soun Vin
– Vice Chair: Riem Sokchamroeun
– Members: Keo Komroang, Soy Sophea, Lao Sothea

The election was conducted in a transparent and inclusive manner, ensuring fair representation of people living with non-communicable diseases, including those affected by diabetes, cancer, mental health conditions, and other NCDs.
We look forward to working together to promote equitable access to prevention, treatment, care, and social support for all.
