We are thrilled by the announcement that Mr. Soeum Sophal, HACC’s FoNPAM Officer, to be honored with the HIV Hero Award presented by APCOM.

This award recognizes Mr. Sophal’s outstanding activism and unwavering dedication to supporting the community of people living with HIV and Key Populations.

His efforts in advocacy have significantly improved their lives through initiatives such as the social protection fund/national insurance, elimination of stigma and discrimination, and the promotion of the M=M campaign, among other vital contributions.

The award ceremony will take place on Friday, November 22, at the Sukosol Hotel in Bangkok.

This recognition is a tremendous honor for the community, FoNPAM, DFoNPAM, Cambodia, and the global community. It serves as an inspiring testament to the impact of continuous support for community, encouraging everyone to persevere in their efforts despite any physical and mental challenges.
