The Cambodian Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (CCW) is one of the founding members of the FoNPAM forum, under the Community System Strengthening (CSS) project supported by the Global Fund, with HACC serving as the Secretariat.
To strengthen the capacity and roles of members who represent the collective voice and interests of women living with HIV (WLHIV) in Cambodia’s HIV response, CCW organized a capacity-building training focused on enhancing knowledge and understanding of HIV programs, sexual and reproductive health, prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT), stigma and discrimination, and gender equality.
The training aimed to equip members with updated knowledge and skills that they can apply and share within their communities to better support HIV prevention and treatment efforts.
The three-day training took place from 21–23 October 2025 in Kampot Province, with the participation of 13 members from seven provinces: Takeo, Koh Kong, Phnom Penh, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Battambang, and Siem Reap.
This activity was organized by CCW and HACC (as Secretariat) with technical support from the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STD (NCHADS) under the Community System Strengthening (CSS) project funded by the Global Fund.
