HACC is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), marking an important step in expanding HACC’s international cooperation and creating new opportunities for collaboration in public health, research, and knowledge exchange.
The partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during HACC’s participation in the 12th International Conference on Public Health (ICOPH 2026).
Through this collaboration, HACC and TIIKM will strengthen cooperation in research, knowledge exchange, and professional development. It is also expected to enable NGOs, CBOs, students, and community members to engage with and benefit from international initiatives.
As part of this collaboration, HACC and TIIKM are also pleased to announce two prestigious international conferences to be held in Siem Reap, Cambodia, in 2027:
1. The 13th World Conference on Women’s Studies, to be held from 26–28 May 2027
2. The 12th World Disability and Rehabilitation Conference, to be held in August 2027
The two conferences are expected to attract researchers, academics, government representatives, development partners, civil society organizations, and professionals from across the globe. They will provide important platforms for sharing research, promoting innovation, strengthening international collaboration, and advancing dialogue on gender equality, disability inclusion, rehabilitation, and sustainable development.
The new partnership and upcoming conferences build on HACC’s engagement at ICOPH 2026, held in Bali, Indonesia, from 5–7 August 2026, where HACC was represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Tim Vora, and Ms. Sopheak Lyly.
During the conference, HACC participated in several scientific presentations and discussions, strengthened international connections aimed at advancing community health systems and promoting health equity, and fostered collaboration with international platforms. ICOPH 2026 brought together public health professionals, researchers, policymakers, universities, civil society organizations, and development partners from around the world to exchange knowledge and explore innovative solutions to current and emerging public health challenges.
HACC looks forward to working closely with TIIKM, the Royal Government of Cambodia, development partners, universities, and civil society organizations to ensure the successful organization of these international events. This collaboration reflects HACC’s continued commitment to strengthening Cambodia’s leadership in public health, research, and international cooperation.
