The Health Action Coordinating Committee (HACC) is proud to be an implementing partner of the WeProtection Project (WEPP) funded by Plan International Cambodia. The WEPP, with a budget of around $1.6 million, will run from July 2024 to June 2026. HACC and Khmer Youth Association (KYA) are implementing the project in Siem Reap Province, while other partners including Phnom Srey Organization Development (PSOD) and Transcultural Psychosocial Organization Cambodia (TPO) will focus on Steung Treng and Ratanak Kiri.
This significant initiative aims to ensure that by 2027, cildren, adolescent and young women (CAY), include two-Spirit people, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer (2SLGBTIQ) and children left behind, can live free from all forms of violence, and control their lives, bodies and transform the gender norms that drive violence and inequalities and resilience to climate change.
HACC is committed to the successful implementation of the WEPP and is determined to achieve its goals effectively. We will ensure that all project activities are carried out with the highest standards and work collaboratively with our partners to realize the project’s vision and objectives.
