As part of the We Protection Project (#WePP), the Health Action Coordination Committee (#HACC) has carried out various activities to promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (#SRHR) among youth and the broader community, including teachers, local authorities, students, parents, and health center staff.
From March 11-13, 2025, HACC conducted a field visit to interview beneficiaries and key stakeholders in each target area. The goal was to gain deeper insights into their knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) regarding SRHR throughout the project’s implementation.
We observed that young people are aware of sexual and reproductive health issues, open to guidance, and actively discussing these topics.
Schools also contribute by teaching students about youth health through health education programs.
Parents are becoming more informed about youth health, while local groups such as the Commune Committee for Women and Children (CCWC) and the Village Health Support Group (VHSG) help raise awareness.
Health service providers also play a key role by offering counseling and important information at health centers.
