On December 25-26, 2023, the Health Action Coordinating Committee (HACC) organized a training on ” Skills in Organizing and Facilitation Events” at the Regency Angkor Hotel, Siem Reap Province. This training aimed at building capacity for community representatives including representatives of the National Entertainment Worker Network (NEWN), MSM and Transgender, the Cambodian Network of People who Using Drug (CNPUD), the Network of People Living with HIV and the Young Key Populations Networks (YKPs), and DFoNPAMs forum from the seven city/ provinces, Phnom Penh, Svay Rieng, Kampot, Sihanoukville, Battambang, Banteay Meanchey and Siem Reap. A total of 28 participants attended the training.
Through this training, participants gained important knowledge to apply in their work in the community, such as planning, documentation of activities to be done before, during and after each program. Another important point is that participants also learn how to write a report for each meeting or training.
This training is part of the capacity building of our community representatives working hard to combat the spread of HIV / AIDS. We hope that this training will make our community more capable and confident in organizing community events more efficiently and effectively. This training is funded by DFAT through UNAIDS.
