Kampong Cham Province – Mundul Mith Chauy Mith (MMM) on March 7, 2012 conducted the meeting to review the process of health situation, to provide education related to health care and treatment and to improve the way of practice for clients who come for medicine in kampong Cham Referral Hospital.

The meeting was supported by AIDS HealthCare Foundation and conducted in collaboration with NGOs – HACC, INNer Change (Sunrise Program), CPN+, Spien Holland,. It was attended by more than 110 participants such as officials from kampong Cham and Kampong Siem operational District, physicians from OI/ART of kampong Cham province, NGO representatives, monk and people. 

Dr. Yun Chanthan, Director of OI/ART Center, Kampong Cham Hospital said in his open remarks that the meeting is significant for patients to review the process of drug usage. He explained about how and when to take the drugs to avoid the resistance. 

Due to confusion of drugs used, the health center has created the box for keeping the drugs to remember the clients whether the drugs taken or not yet. He suggested that people should go to visit RHAC for every six months to check up disease related to cancer of reproductive Health especially women.

Dr. Meas Sokavary from OI/ART Center, Kampong Cham Hospital, encouraged patients to take care themselves and to use the drug regularly.

In Kampong Cham there are six OI/ART centers with totally patients of 3,465 on ART and 373 patients on OI.
